Group Events & Private Cruises On Palapa Tours

Everyone’s on their own—unless you’re a couple, in which case, we’ll leave it to you to decide if it’s “your treat” or “split it like rent.”

We’ll open a tab for you at the bar, and last call is 25 minutes before the cruise ends. That’s when we start settling up your bills so nobody’s scrambling at the dock (or trying to tap their card while tipsy).

You’ve got options—and we love a group with a plan. Here's how you can roll:

1. Individual Tabs for Everyone:
   Great for friends, families, or those who prefer not to Venmo each other for $7.50 after the cruise.
2. Group Tab with a Limit:
   Popular with corporate groups. Something like:
   👉 “First two drinks are on us, then you’re on your own.”
   Just tell the bartender who’s covered and how far the generosity goes.
3. Open Bar All the Way:
   You’re a legend. We’ll run the tab and settle it all on one bill at the end. Simple, seamless, and everyone loves you.

🚤 Got Two Boats?
Each boat runs and settles its own tab. No cross-boat charges (the river isn’t that flexible).

• We’re a mostly cashless venue.
  We learned the hard way: wind + cash = tips swimming with the fishes. So bring a card or tap device, and keep the paper money for the end-of-night food truck run.
• Automatic Gratuity = 18%.
  It’s added to every tab, but if you want to leave more, we absolutely won’t stop you (our crew might cry happy tears).
• Want to leave a cash tip?
  Totally welcome—and super appreciated. Our staff will do a little happy dance once you disembark (probably out of sight, but it’ll happen).
• Tips are split between Captain & First Mate.
  If you want to tip one specifically, just do it in cash—and discreetly, like you’re passing top-secret info. 🕵️‍♂️
